The Special issue of Chinese Medicine and Culture, in cooperation with The Belt and Road Research Institute of Beijing Language and Culture University, is now open for submission from overseas Chinese medicine experts.
POTENTIAL TOPICS Potential topics include, but are not limited to: Study on traditional Chinese medicine based on Chinese medical classics/theories GUEST EDITOR Prof. Xu Baofeng Xu Baofeng, Ph.D., professor and doctoral supervisor; Dean of the Belt and Road Research Institute of Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU), Beijing Outstanding Young Scientist. Editor-in-chief of “Asian Culture”; Director of the National Project of “Chinese and Foreign Sinologist Translators Talent Database and Chinese Culture Translation and Studies Support Network (CCTSS)” of the Central Propaganda Department; Project leader of the “China-Latin America Cultural Translation Project" of the Ministry of Culture; the person in charge of the “Foreigners Writing China Program” of the National Silk Road Scholarly Project; Project leader of the “Chinese Cultural Knowledge Dictionary” project of Chinese contemporary works translation project; Chinese head of the Secretariat of the Special Office for Mutual Translation of Asian Classics; Director of the Wutong platform of “Foreign Translation and Dissemination of Chinese Modern and Contemporary Literary Works” at BLCU. He has long been engaged in the teaching and research of overseas sinology, Chinese culture and poetics, and Confucian ethics and philosophy; offered courses such as “Introduction to Literature”, “Chinese Culture”, “General Theory of Sinology”, “Life Wisdom of Sinology”, “Chinese Literature Studies in North American Sinology”, and “Chinese Culture and Poetics” for international students, undergraduates and postgraduates respectively; published 4 academic works, including 2 in English; edited 2 English works; completed 2 volumes of ancient books; edited 4 textbooks; published 3 research reports; published more than 30 papers in academic journals such as Literary Review.
